Bronze Flanges Manufacturer & Exporter
Industrial Bronze, Gunmetal & Aluminium Bronze Flanges Manufactured to Customer and Applicable International Specifications.

Manufacturer & exporter of bronze and copper alloy flanges
Sunflex Metalloy Pvt. Ltd. manufactures bronze, gunmetal and aluminium bronze flanges at three production units in Gujarat, India, and supplies them to customers internationally. Flanges are made to the customer’s drawing or to the applicable standard named in the order.
The range covers nine flange types in seven UNS bronze grades, from gunmetal pipe flanges in C83600 to nickel aluminium bronze flanges in C95800 for seawater service.

Bronze flange types
Every flange type has its own technical page covering construction, materials, standards, inspection and custom manufacturing.

Slip-On Flanges
Slip-on flanges are machined from bronze and copper-alloy grades so that the pipe slides into the bore and is secured by fillet welding or brazing, depending on material and procedure.

Threaded / Screwed Flanges
Threaded flanges connect to pipe through an internal thread, avoiding welding at the joint.
View details →
Blind Flanges
Blind flanges are solid discs used to close the end of a pipe, valve or pressure vessel nozzle.
View details →
Socket-Weld Flanges
Socket-weld flanges have a recess into which the pipe is inserted.

Lap Joint Flanges
A lap joint flange is a loose flange used together with a stub end.
View details →
Plate Flanges
Plate flanges are flat rings with a bore and a bolt-hole pattern.

Reducing Flanges
A reducing flange connects a pipe of one nominal size to a mating flange of a different, larger size, using a single flange with a reduced bore.

Loose Flanges
Loose flanges are not fixed to the pipe.

View details →Bronze, gunmetal and aluminium bronze grades
Flanges are available in the following UNS-designated copper alloys. Each grade has a technical page with composition limits, mechanical property minimums and application guidance.
Leaded tin bronze (Cu-Sn-Pb-Zn)
UNS C93200 is a leaded tin bronze widely used where free machining, good pressure tightness in castings and bearing behaviour matter more than very high strength.
Technical data →Aluminium bronze (Cu-Al-Fe)
UNS C95400 is a heat-treatable aluminium bronze that combines high strength with good wear and corrosion performance, making it a common choice for demanding pump, valve and marine components.
Technical data →Nickel-bearing aluminium bronze (Cu-Al-Ni-Fe-Mn)
UNS C95500 is a high-strength nickel-bearing aluminium bronze for heavily loaded components in marine and industrial service.
Technical data →Nickel aluminium bronze, NAB (Cu-Al-Ni-Fe-Mn)
UNS C95800 is the standard cast nickel aluminium bronze for seawater service.
Technical data →Wrought nickel aluminium bronze (Cu-Al-Ni-Fe-Mn-Si)
UNS C63000 is a wrought (not cast) aluminium bronze.
Technical data →Leaded red brass / composition bronze (Cu-Sn-Pb-Zn)
UNS C83600 — commonly called gunmetal, composition bronze or red bronze — is the traditional general-purpose cast alloy for valves, pump parts and pipe fittings, and the material behind our gunmetal flanges.
Technical data →Leaded semi-red brass (Cu-Zn-Pb-Sn)
UNS C84400 is a leaded semi-red brass, often called valve composition, used extensively for valves, plumbing and general fittings where free machining and economy matter.
Technical data →From material selection to final inspection
The route followed for each order depends on the grade, flange type and specification. Values vary according to applicable specification, material condition and customer requirements.
Material selection
Grade chosen against the medium, load, temperature and the specification named in the order.
Casting / manufacturing route
Manufacturing route as applicable to the grade, size and specification.
Machining
Flange blanks machined to the drawing or standard dimensions.
Drilling
Bolt holes drilled to the specified pitch circle, number and diameter.
Facing
Flat, raised or custom faces machined to the required finish.
Dimensional inspection
Critical dimensions checked against the drawing or standard.
Final inspection
Visual, dimensional and documentation checks before packing.
Industries that use bronze and copper alloy flanges
Bronze flanges are selected where corrosion resistance, machinability, wear behaviour or compatibility with bronze valves and pumps matters.
Inspection at each stage of manufacture
Each order is checked from raw-material identification through dimensional, thread, facing, bore and drilling inspection to final inspection and packing. Documentation such as material test certificates and inspection reports is issued as agreed at order stage.
Management systems certified to ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
