What is a Custom or Special flange?
Many applications cannot use catalogue flanges: an existing machine has a non-standard bolt pattern, a casting needs an integral flange, or a project specifies a thickness or bore that standards do not cover. Custom flanges are made to your drawing, and, where the shape allows, to the closest standard you name.
Because the dimensions are customer-defined, the information supplied with the enquiry determines how quickly and accurately we can quote. A dimensioned drawing, material grade and applicable standard are ideal; a sample or sketch with measurements can also be a basis for review.
